Happy Sunday gang! It is finally FINALLY glorious in Montreal and everyone is drunk on vitamin D and running around in minimal clothing and blindingly white winter skin. Spring is something to behold here, truly. Here’s what the sewing blog world was up to this week.

Although I’m not into making costumes or cosplay (except on my favourite holiday, Halloween) I love seeing what other people are up to. Cation is the queen of Lord of of the Rings costumes. Peneloping blew my mind with this Frozen Elsa dress. And Dixie DIY is channeling some 18th century realness in her chemise and corset.

So Zo made the cutest little pinafore dress with an applique fawn – makes me want to finally start crafting for all the new babies in my life.

A fresh take on sweatpants over at Vivat Veritas.

A pretty rad two-piece setacular over at Katy & Laney (using my favourite skirt pattern no less).

Do you follow Cassie Stephens? She’s an art teacher who DIYs most of her (insane, hilarious, charming, colourful) outfits. Her posts are like instant sunshine. Love this kooky donut hat she made.
