Pattern hooks // Closet Core Patterns

Sorry for this delayed round-up! It was so bloody beautiful yesterday I basically pranced like a deer out of my house into the sunlight early in the morning and never looked back. It felt so good to lay on a blanket in the park and feel WARM for once. Hope you guys had an equally sunny weekend.

More double sided sweater-y goodness from The Overflowing Stash here and here.

This self-drafted number from Peneloping is fab-u-lous.

Speaking of fabulous, did you catch Erica’s striking red pants and gingham top? Home run.

These strawberry print Ginger Flares from That Black Chic are pretty much why I get up in the morning.

Did you see Hannah, the incredible new dress pattern from Victory Patterns? I got to see Kristiann wearing it in person and bought it the second it came out since its such a cool and original design.

Dandelion Drift is reminding me I wanted to make more Roscoe dresses…

This gorgeous two piece sheath from Bobbin & Baste made me (almost) long for an office job again.

I really like how Fadanista styled her Drape Drape top.

The plaid matching on this pencil skirt from Secondo Piano is on point.

Perfect outfit: Nettie bodysuit and Nita wrap skirt over on Sew DIY.

Grace Coddington is launching a cat lady fragrance. Enough said.

I finally finished The Terror, a scary but great re-imagining of the lost Franklin expedition to the Arctic and just found out they’re making it into a new TV show!

I’ve spent the better part of the last two weeks poring over the recipes, science and really funny writing of The Food Lab by J. Kenji Lopez-Alt. Everything I’ve made has been impeccable and I HIGHLY suggest this for cooks with a nerdy “what is the absolute best way to do this thing” streak.
