Happy Sunday everyone! I’m back from my weeklong trip out to the west coast to visit friends. I brought my laptop and worked a lot while I was there (we have a new pattern going to print shortly!) but it’s hard to complain when you’re working on an island paradise (I think I left my heart on Salt Spring – so dreamy….)

I’m still dealing with the after-effects from the fire in my building and my stash remains storage in at the drycleaners; I can’t bring everything back until my apartment is professionally cleaned, which is dependent on the demo schedule downstairs (this stuff takes forever to resolve). I keep wanting to start new projects and then I remember everything is boxed up and missing me. STASH COME BACK TO ME. I AM WAITING FOR YOU.

In other news, here’s what I’ve been eyeballing this week:

Could not love Debbie’s lace dress more. So creative!

I’ve been meaning to sew up the Sew House Seven Tea Dress pattern; a great review on the Curvy Sewing Collective.

Apparently Sasha and I share a brain; we both made deconstructed reconstructed jeans for the Refashioners project (my project is coming up next week). Absolutely loved her take on them.

I’m really into fleshy colours these days even if I have a hard time pulling them off; Tasha totally nails the colour trend in this skirt.

Carolyn is such a skilled sewist it blows my mind. We need a Great Australian Sewing Bee so she can win it. This dress is absolutely perfect.

Clio & Phineas is really nailing the off the shoulder trend.

My friend Alexis started embroidering and it kind of took over her life; her instagram is super inspiring.

Lingerie news! Norma has extended the size range for her ever popular Marlborough bra (I REALLY need to find time to finally make this!) and Madalynne released her first patterns for Simplicity; I love Allie’s take on the panelled undies.
